  6. This is Version 1.2 of NNTPd. It is completely RFC 977
  7. compliant, and supports the extended command set, including
  8. mode reader, xhdr, xpath, etc etc. It was compiled to run with
  9. AmiTCP 4.0 and higher, but 3.0 users should have no problem.
  10.  
  11. This version now supports accepting posts, and forwards them to other
  12. hosts using Michael van Elst's nntpput.  It also automatically expires
  13. news articles based on user preferences.
